From October 14 to 16, the annual Web Developer Conference (WDC) took place in Hamburg. In full-day workshops, one-hour DevSessions, and a well-attended conference day, software developers explored fundamentals, technical know-how, and practical solution approaches. Centigrade was also represented with a talk on Angular & NestJS.
Centigrade at WDC 2019 – From end to end: Angular & NestJS
David Wuerfel from Centigrade demonstrated in his talk how efficient, reliable, and scalable server-side applications can be built with NestJS. As an example, he created a project structure with an Angular frontend and a NestJS backend, implemented API routes, and ran unit tests. The goal of the talk was for participants to be able to independently build a full-stack web application through the symbiosis of Angular and NestJS afterward.

About the Web Developer Conference
At the Web Developer Conference, web developers receive the practical tools they need through half-day DevSessions, full-day workshops, and the one-day conference. In this way, the Web Developer Conference combines foundational knowledge and theoretical know-how with practical solutions and hands-on exercises.
