AI-Powered Accessibility Download
Current AI models and tools are becoming increasingly multimodal. It is time to reconsider whether we can use them for something meaningful. Accessibility (“A11y”) in particular holds enormous, partly untapped potential. The Accessibility Strengthening Act (BFSG), as well as the accessibility personas developed by the British and German governments, show how relevant and urgent it is to approach this topic with human-centered methods.
The tutorial explains the theoretical background and legal framework of accessibility and reduced barriers, then uses interactive exercises to demonstrate how AI persona agents can be used to achieve accessibility goals effectively.
